Approve and adopt the Paradise Valley General Plan 2022 - Public Involvement Plan (PIP) dated December 3, 2020 (as revised by the Consultant and as presented).
Background
SUMMARY STATEMENT:
Staff and the consultant are seeking Council’s approval for, and adoption of, the Paradise Valley General Plan 2022 Public Involvement Plan dated December 3, 2020. This PIP identifies the various engagement approaches and goals, engagement techniques, public outreach events and the engagement timeline for the project going forward.
The PIP was initially presented to Town Council at their November 19th Study Session. Comments were made and several edits were identified by Town Council which the consultant incorporated into this final draft, which will be discussed in Study Session on December 3rd prior to consideration of this agenda item.
BUDGETARY IMPACT:
Project budget costs for the Public Involvement Plan (PIP) were identified in the contract approved by Town Council on October 8, 2020 and signed by the Town Manager.
