Background

SUMMARY STATEMENT:

As part of the FY2020/21 budget process, Town Council reviewed each department and program budget and priorities with the respective Director including the Town’s Capital Improvement Program (“CIP”).  The CIP is a 5-year plan that Town Council approves budget authority for spending in the current fiscal year only.

This budget amendment was discussed at the Council study session November 18^th.  As drafted for Council’s considerations, it aligns the Capital Improvement budgets with contracts awarded by Council and the most recent cost estimates for subsurface utility, conduit and pull boxes with fiber, and sewer pipe lining for various projects in the Town’s CIP.
