Background
UPDATED STATEMENT OF DIRECTION:
At the January 24th Town Council meeting staff presented the Amended Special Use Permit Request and Draft Statement of Direction (SOD) for the Sanctuary Resort Casa 3 located at 5700 E McDonald Drive and discussion was had regarding the application and the SOD. On February 14th the SOD was discussed in greater detail and edited by the Town Council. Attachment H is a redlined version and Attachment I is a clean version of the draft SOD which incorporates the edits.
REQUEST:
Sanctuary Resort and Spa is requesting an amendment to their Special Use Permit (SUP) to allow for the improvements at Casa 3 to create more keys and accommodate additional guests. The applicant is proposing to remodel and expand the existing house (which is commonly referred to as the Gallery House), add 1 lock off and 3 new attached guest rooms, relocate the pool, and add new landscape/hardscape improvements. ...
