Approve Town Manager employment agreement
Background
Following the departure of Kevin Burke as Paradise Valley Town Manager, the Town Council retained the executive recruiting firm CPS HR Consulting to conduct a nationwide search for a new Town Manager. The Council charged CPS with finding a highly professional and highly competent individual with a record of achievement and building positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Comprehensive recruitment efforts resulted in 65 applications for the position. Applicants were vetted and a final pool of three highly qualified candidates were selected for interviews, which were held on October 12, 2018.
It is anticipated that the Mayor and Council will be prepared to finalize the Town Manager selection process with the award of an employment agreement during the public meeting on October 25, 2018.
