Recommendation
Authorize the Town Manager to execute the RWC Master Site Agreement and the Site Specific Supplemental Agreement with the City of Phoenix.
Background
SUMMARY STATEMENT:
The Town of Paradise Valley recently opened a police telecommunication site. This IGA governs the specific duties and responsibilities of the Town and the RWC in relation to the telecommunication site. Specific responsibilities including site maintenance, equipment maintenance, radio interference, facility ownership and equipment ownership are governed by this agreement. The RWC is responsible for the maintenance of the radio equipment at the radio site. This IGA covers a ten-year period and can be renewed for ten more years.
BUDGETARY IMPACT:
Paradise Valley is responsible for communication lines, equipment in dispatch, the antenna housings at the site, and the external building maintenance at the radio site. Those expenses are budgeted in ongoing operations and maintenance budgets.
