RECOMMENDATION:

Recommendation

Consider a motion to reconsider the action taken on Resolution 2018-03 on January 25, 2018.

Background

SUMMARY STATEMENT:

Section XIV of the Town Council Rules and Procedures provides that a motion to reconsider any action taken by the Town Council may be made only on the day the action was taken or at the next regular meeting of the Council.  The motion may only be made by a Member who voted in the majority, but may be seconded by any Member.

Mayor Collins, who voted in the majority at the January 25th meeting, requested that this item be added to the agenda.

If the motion to reconsider is approved, it reopens debate on the original resolution and license agreement which would follow immediately on the agenda.  It would then be in order for the Council to consider alternative motions.
