Discussion of Paradise Valley Bicycle + Pedestrian Master Plan (the “Master Plan”)

Background
The Planning Commission discussed the Master Plan at its July 25, 2017; August 15, 2017; September 5, 2017; September 19, 2017; October 17, 2017; November 21, 2017; December 19, 2017, and January 16, 2018 work study meetings.
There are two primary objectives for the January 16, 2018 work session meeting. No action will be taken. These objectives are as follows:
• Continued Review of the January 2018 draft plan. The consultant has made revisions to the January 2018 draft plan based on the Planning Commission input from the January 16, 2018 meeting.
• Continued Review of the prioritized projects.
The Planning Commission is encouraged to use the project prioritization criteria in identifying the proposed timing of the listed projects for Town Council review. The prioritization in the attached draft plan is a placeholder for Planning Commission discussion.
Planning Commission action is set for the regular meeting date of February 20, 2018. Staff will review the draft resolution(s) for action at the February 6, 2018 meeting.
