A safe atmosphere provides an increase to the sense of community. Enhancing the ability of the police officers to communicate will improve the officer safety.

Recommend approval of IGA between the City of Phoenix and the Town of Paradise Valley governing the Paradise Valley RWC radio site.
Background
SUMMARY STATEMENT:
The Town of Paradise Valley has located and built a radio communications facility for public safety. This facility enables radio communications between Paradise Valley Police Patrol Vehicles, Phoenix Fire Vehicles, the Town Dispatch Center, and those on the RWC. This site-specific agreement will govern the use of the radio communication site built in Paradise Valley.
BUDGETARY IMPACT:
1. There is no initial cost to sign this agreement.
2. Ongoing costs have been budgeted in the Police Department’s radio fees line item. This budgetary item covers a fee per radio on the RWC network.
