Recommendation

Approve the appointment of Ryan Wooddy to the Advisory Committee on Public Safety (ACOPS).

Background

SUMMARY STATEMENT:

ACOPS member Chuck Matthews has moved out of Paradise Valley, making him ineligible to hold a position on the committee.

The Advisory Committee on Public Safety (ACOPS) met on March 14, 2017 to interview finalists from the pool of seven who applied.   A list of interested people was compiled after the interview process.  Ryan Wooddy is a member of that list.  Mr. Wooddy remains interested in working on the ACOPS. His term would coincide with other members of ACOPS, ending March 31, 2019.

BUDGETARY IMPACT:

There is no budgetary impact to signing this agreement.  All committee members volunteer their time to the community.
