RECOMMENDATION
Recommendation
Approve the two proposed subdivision signs, subject to the stipulations in the Action Report.
Background

STIPULATIONS

1. Both signs shall be in substantial compliance with the submitted documents that include the following:
a. Narrative from Smithcraft dated May 12, 2017; and
b. Sign elevations/site plan prepared by Smithcraft revised April 24, 2017

2. The applicant shall provide a setback certification for the monument sign along Lincoln Drive prior to footing inspection approval.

3. Sign lighting shall not exceed two fixtures per sign, each fixture shall not exceed 750 lumens, and the illumination shall not exceed 0.75 foot-candles at the property line.

BACKGROUND

Town Council Study Session:
The Town Council discussed the proposed application at the meeting of May 25, 2017. There were no specific concerns for this application request.

Request
Gary Edens, representing the Camelhead North neighborhood association, is requesting approval of two subdivision signs. One sign is a monument sign located at the southeast corner of Lincoln Drive and 46th Street. The other is a wall sign on the existing perimeter wall located at the northwest corner of Tatum Boulevard and Arroyo Verde Drive.
Residential Subdivision Sign Process
The application request for installing a new residential subdivision sign follows Article XXV, Signs, of the Town Zoning Ordinance.
