UPDATE
The Town Council last received an update on the Paradise Valley Bicycle & Pedestrian Master Plan (the “Master Plan”) at your meeting of November 17, 2016. During this meeting the consultant highlighted some of the existing condition data collected. They also described the public participation process and input. Since November 2016, there were two open house events held in December 2016 and an information booth at the Town’s Safety Fair in February 2017. A draft plan went public on February 15, 2017. The Planning Commission held their first work session for the plan on February 21, 2017.
The consultant will provide an overview of the draft plan and Planning Commission discussion at the Town Council study session of February 23, 2017. This study session will provide opportunity for the Town Council to provide specific direction on the feasibility of major components of the draft plan such as bicycle facilities on Lincoln Drive and Tatum Boulevard.
