Finances - Determine and address the expenditure limitation law.
RECOMMENDATION:
Discuss and provide direction on the Expenditure Limitation Rule (ELR) permanent base adjustment strategy for educational outreach.
SUMMARY STATEMENT:
For several months the Town has been considering the elements of a potential ballot issue to adjust the permanent base (PBA) associated with the ELR. Further, this Work Session will explore the Educational Outreach strategy for informing residents about an ELR measure if one is placed on the ballot.
