Background
SUMMARY STATEMENT:
The Town is in receipt of a letter requesting investigation and discussions regarding annexation of the Clearwater Hills Improvement Association. The purpose of this study session is to determine if Mayor and Council would like staff to spend time and resources exploring a possible annexation and if so, what topics they would like to make sure are explored. This is not a decision to annex or not annex, just whether or not to explore the pros and cons of annexation.
Councilmember Hamway asked for Community Development staff work relative to a previous consideration of annexation. That memo is attached.
BUDGETARY IMPACT:
Indirect cost of staff time.
