Adopt Resolution Number 2016-05 authorizing the Mayor to execute an Intergovernmental Agreement between the Town of Paradise Valley and the City of Scottsdale for Wastewater Treatment and System Maintenance.
Background
SUMMARY STATEMENT:
The Town and the City of Scottsdale ("Scottsdale") desire to enter into an Intergovernmental Agreement (IGA) (attached) related to Wastewater Treatment and System Maintenance. This IGA supersedes IGA No.'s 980154 and 980131. The Town of Paradise Valley (Town) has two wastewater service providers. Portions of the southwest and northwest are served by the city of Phoenix which owns, operates and maintains the wastewater facilities in these areas. The remaining areas are serviced by the Town which owns, operates and maintains the collection system within these areas.
