SUMMARY STATEMENT:
The 2016 Legislative Session for the State of Arizona begins on January 11, 2016. As our legislative delegation discuss desired changes to the Arizona Revised Statutes, they look to the municipalities they represent to provide policy and impact analyses of proposed language.
At the study session, staff will present a recommended legislative agenda for the upcoming year and will look to Council for input and guidance on the proposed strategy and approach. The finalized legislative agenda will be brought to Council for consideration and adoption at a subsequent Council meeting.
