Background

SUMMARY STATEMENT:

In March, 2011, the Town Council approved Ordinance No. 635 requiring that property owners in the Town of Paradise Valley must either contract for or otherwise obtain fire protection and emergency medical services with a licensed fire service provider.  One of the initial licensees is the Town of Paradise Valley Fire Services Department, “PVFD.” The initial license agreement was for a five (5) year term, with options to extend the term for additional three (3) year periods, provided that such extensions are in writing.  It is respectfully recommended that the current PVFD License Agreement be extended for an additional three (3) year term.
