Reappoint Daran Wastchak and Jonathan Wainwright to the Planning Commission
Background
SUMMARY STATEMENT:
The Town Council recently completed its annual review and appointment process for committee, commission, and board volunteers in accordance with the Volunteers in Paradise Strategy. Unfortunately, two reappointments were inadvertently left off the final appointment list approved on March 22, 2018.
Daran Wastchak has served on the Planning Commission since January 2015 and is currently the Chair. Mr. Wastchak is President of D.R. Wastchak, LLC which provides consulting, training, and support services for ENERGY STAR and LEED for homes.
Jonathan Wainwright was appointed to the Planning Commission in October 2013 after having served on the Board of Adjustment for 17 years. Mr. Wainwright is a partner with Calvis Wyant Luxury Homes.
Both Mr. Wastchak and Mr. Wainwright submitted written request to be reappointed to another three-year term ending April 1, 2021.
BUDGETARY IMPACT:
There is no budget impact.
