Background

SUMMARY STATEMENT:
This project is identified in the FY2015-16 Capital Improvement Plan and includes the removal of existing asphalt sidewalk and replacement with a new six foot wide San Diego Buff colored concrete walk. The project accomplishes parts of two specific goals (4.5-1.6 and 4.5-1.7) of the Mobility Implementation Program found in Part 4 of the Town's 2012 General Plan.

There are six different areas (See Project Location Map Attachment) that total over one mile of sidewalk. In addition to sidewalk improvements in these areas, new driveway approaches for residents along the project area and ADA accessible ramps will also be installed. The contractor will begin work in January 2016, as to avoid disruption to residents during the holiday season.
