SUMMARY STATEMENT:
The Arizona State Legislature reviewed over 1,300 bills during the 2016 52nd Legislative Session. While written in an effort to resolve specific issues, many of these bills would have greatly harmed the ability of local governments to provide essential public services. As a House Representative for Legislative District 28, Dr. Eric Meyer was instrumental in eliminating and amending bills to mitigate reductions to local revenues and mediate attacks on local control.
