Recommendation
Adopt Resolution Number #2020-07 approving the extension of the Town’s membership in the Arizona Metropolitan Trust (AzMT) commencing on July 1, 2020 through June 30, 2023.
Background
SUMMARY STATEMENT:
AzMT is a benefits consortium made up of cities, towns, counties and fire districts that provides the Town’s employees with health, dental, vision, life, accidental death and disability and short-term disability insurance. The Town has enjoyed membership in the Trust since July 1, 2017. The Town’s three-year membership expires on June 30, 2020. On February 12, 2020, the Board of Trustees voted unanimously to extend the Town’s membership for another three years beginning on July 01, 2020 through June 30, 2023.
