Appoint Martha Hunter-Henderson to Paradise Valley Mountain Preserve Trust to fill the unexpired term ending April 1, 2020.
Background
SUMMARY STATEMENT:
Ron Clarke resigned from the Paradise Valley Mountain Preserve Trust on February 27, 2019 to focus on other obligations. During the 2018 committee volunteer selection process, the Council designated Martha Hunter-Henderson as the first alternate in the event of a vacancy on the Trust. The Trust Board Members reviewed and discussed Ms. Hunter-Henderson’s qualifications on April 24, 2019 and voted unanimously to recommend her appointment.
Ms. Hunter-Henderson is a Partner in the public relations and marketing firm Strategies. Her civic experience includes the Desert Botanical Garden, National Charity League, Phoenix Zoo, United Way, Phoenix Arts Commission, City of Phoenix Parks and Recreation Board, Park Foundation of Phoenix, and Junior League of Phoenix.
