Approve the Historic Property Recognition Program that is proposed by the Town’s Historical Advisory Committee
Background
SUMMARY STATEMENT:
In February 2017, Town Council tasked the Historical Advisory Committee with recommending a voluntary program to recognize historic structures and properties within the town. This Historic Property Recognition Program is a program proposed and composed by the Historical Advisory Committee. The program is voluntary and allows for residents to submit their properties for recognition by the town if the property meets notable requirements for historical value. There is no additional regulatory burden placed upon the property owner or town.
