Approve the amendment to extend the Intergovernmental Agreement between the Superior Court of Maricopa County and the Town of Paradise Valley for jury services for an additional two-year term (June 30, 2018 - June 30, 2020).
Background
SUMMARY STATEMENT:
The Municipal Court requests approval to extend the Intergovernmental Agreement between the Maricopa County Superior Court and the Paradise Valley Municipal Court for jury services for an additional two year term. Upon request, the Superior Court of Maricopa County will print and mail a summons to potential jurors on behalf of the Paradise Valley Municipal Court. In addition to printing a mailing the summons, the Superior Court will field phone calls about postponements, excuses and disqualifications.
BUDGETARY IMPACT:
Cost not to exceed $1000.00 per fiscal year.
