Background
SUMMARY STATEMENT:
Pursuant to the employment agreement between the Town of Paradise Valley and Town Attorney Andrew Miller, a performance evaluation shall be conducted each year covering the previous calendar year. Recently a detailed performance appraisal process was held with the assistance of an outside firm. The Town Council subsequently met with Mr. Miller on April 26, 2018 to discuss the evaluation. The results show that Mr. Miller met or exceeded the Town Council’s expectations and that a salary adjustment for past performance is warranted.
It is recommended that the Mayor and Town Council formalize the results of the Town Attorney Performance Evaluation and authorize a base salary increase in the amount of $2,000 and a one-time monetary award in the amount of $5,000.
