Background
SUMMARY STATEMENT:
Mummy Mountain Preserve Trust Chair Joan Levinson will update the Mayor and Council on past and current activities of the Board.
The Mummy Mountain Preserve Trust was established by the Town Council in 1997 to preserve in perpetuity areas designated as “Mountain Preserve” within the Town. Although Mummy Mountain is its primary focus, the resolution forming the Trust recognizes that the mountain areas within the Town provide a distinctive natural vista that defines the Town’s unique setting and are worthy of preservation. The Preserve currently includes approximately 235 acres in fee title and conservation easements.
