Recommendation
Award the following contracts to M.R. Tanner in the amount of $1,113,850.00 for a full mill and asphalt overlay on selected streets in Maintenance District 4 and to Sunland Asphalt in the amount of $423,079.00 to crack seal and apply a high density mineral bond (PMM) surface treatment to selected streets in Maintenance Districts 6 & 8.
Background
SUMMARY STATEMENT:
Maintenance District 4 - It is recommended that this Maintenance District receive a full mill and 1 1/2 asphalt overlay on the selected 6.9 linear miles of streets. The selected streets have a Pavement Condition Index (PCI) of 41 to 65 which require a full mill and asphalt overlay per the current pavement management program.

Maintenance District 6 - It is recommended that this Maintenance District receive crack seal and an application of a high density mineral bond (PMM) on the selected 12.8 linear miles of streets. The selected streets have a Pavement Condition Index (PCI) of 75 to 85 which require crack seal and PMM per the current pavement management program.
